Two new requirements for beginning Global University Canada students.

In 2010 Global University achieved the highest level of university accreditation available in the USA when it was accepted by the Higher Learning Commission. This means that your Global degree is on a par with prestigious universities like Notre Dame and the University of Chicago.

As part of implementing this high standard of education, Global University has introduced two new requirements for every student who joins the university beginning on January 1st, 2012.

1. Entrance Pre-test.

For those who register in the diploma program in Bible and Theology a pretest is now required. Those joining the 4-year BA degree program will be required to do the Bible and Theology pretest plus one in General Studies. There will also be a post-test at the completion of your degree or diploma. These tests can be completed online.

NOTE:

(a) The pre-test results are not factored into your grades.

(b) The pre-test must be completed before the final exam for your first Global course can be written.

(c) Those who begin their work with Global in the Certificate program are exempt from all pretest requirements.

2. Orientation Course [GUO 1002] Orientation to Global University Learning.

This mandatory 2-credit course provides an excellent overview not only of how to do a GUC course, but also of how to read, do research and write papers at the undergraduate level. For a look at the contents, click here.

The Undergraduate School of Bible and Theology

The Undergraduate School of Bible and Theology makes up the undergraduate program of Global University. The degree programs are open to all who have a high school diploma or its equivalent. For those with previous undergraduate training, transfer credit may be accepted. All courses are studied by correspondence. For more information, download the Undergraduate catalog here.

The Graduate School of Theology

The Graduate School of Theology offers post-bachelor’s degrees through an individually structured distance education format by utilizing mentors and printed and electronic materials to guide students in study and research. For more information, download the Graduate catalog here.

The School of Evangelism and Discipleship

The School of Evangelism and Discipleship provides a variety of non-degree programs designed to make you a more effective disciple of Jesus Christ. The Center for Evangelism and Discipleship also publishes a wide variety of resources for use in evangelism as well as for discipling new believers. The Berean School of the Bible

The Berean School of the Bible is the adult continuing education program of Global University. The courses are ideal for personal enrichment as well as for church leadership training.
