Doctoral Program
Global University announces Doctor of Ministry program.
Global University, an accredited Pentecostal distance education university, announces the creation of a Doctor of Ministry program (DMin). The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools has granted full accreditation to this DMin program. This is the highest level of accreditation available to any institution in the North Central region of the United States where the headquarters of Global University is located.
This Doctor of Ministry program has been designed to serve people active in Christian Ministry who cannot attend a traditional residential seminary. Students will receive academic yet practical training in Bible and Theology from a Pentecostal perspective enabling them to serve with knowledge and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to fulfill their calling to church-based ministry.
Dr. Carl Chrisner, Dean of the Graduate School of Theology, comments, “It is clear to us at Global University’s School of Graduate Studies that this doctoral program is the result of a worldwide request to provide this highest level of ministerial training. We conducted a feasibility and sustainability study to determine the need and the results of this study revealed a gap that needed to be filled for full-time ministers, so we decided to offer this Doctor of Ministry program.”
This new Global University Canada Doctor of Ministry program offers affordable and accessible training while you continue in ministry. The School of Graduate Studies provides one-on-one mentoring by Canadian leaders with doctoral degrees, an extensive online research library and flexible scheduling.
The program requires as little as 30 credits beyond a BA plus an MA or MDiv degree. Areas of study include Core subjects (9 credits), Specialization (12 credits) and Project (9 credits). Click here for more information on entrance requirements.
