Online Course Resource Guides
Every 3-credit Global course requires the student to prepare two papers, a project and a collateral reading assignment. Students are expected to consult at least three to five additional resources and use them in these papers. These used to be available online in Global’s Online Resource Centre.
This wonderful source of information has recently been transformed by the Global staff to become a series of Course Research Guides, which provide an array of resources specific to each Global course. This means you can find just the material you need specially selected to apply to the course you are working on. It’s the difference between trying to find a screwdriver in a Walmart and in a hardware store. You have to do a lot less searching!
Go to this page and login using your student number and password. Under “RESEARCH TOOLS” click on “Course Research Guides” to see the screen below. Click on the link for your course. For this example, we have chosen the first one, BIB 1022/23 The Life of Christ.

The screen below comes up. Notice the tabs at the top of the page labelled Reference Resources, Books, e-Books, Periodical Articles and so forth. Click on Journal Articles.

Under “Journal Articles” you can see the list of relevant articles, each of which is a link to the resource in question.
